Mofijul Rahana Sheikh, hailing from Lakshmipur of Malda district in West
Bengal, purchased the 'Karunya' lottery ticket on March 4, 2016the day he
arrived in Kozhikode, for Rs. 50 from a vendor at nearby Vellimadakunnu, police said.
He won the Rs. one crore prize in the draw held the next day
