2016 ICC U-19 World Cup in Bangladesh - India's Rishabh Pant scores 18-ball 50, fastest Vs Nepal in U-19 World Cup history Monday February 01,2016

India's young wicket-keeper-batsman Rishabh Pant reminded of the Adam Gilchrists and MS Dhonis in Dhaka on Monday February 01,2016, when he hammered a hapless Nepal attack with a record-breaking half-century that made the paltry target of 170 look even more minuscule.

Nepal 169/8 in 48 Overs(48 Overs Maximum)
India U-19 175/3 in 18.2 Overs

Rishabh Pant went on to complete his breathtaking half-century in just 18 balls to break the record for fastest fifty in the history of ICC Under-19 World Cup.

Rishabh Pant(18)belongs to Delhi and has also played two first-class matches for his state side.
His knock, which at one stage threatened to break the all-time fastest-century record in the name of AB de Villiers, ended at 78 off 24 balls. En route, India raised their fifty in 3.5 overs and hundred in 7.3 overs. India's score at that stage read 124 for 1 in just 9.1 overs.

Rishabh Pant was bowled by spinner Prem Tamang for 78 Runs (24 Balls 4x9 and 6x5)

Both India and Nepal have already qualified for the quarter-finals from Group D.
