Adele walked away with two gongs at the BBC Music Awards 2015, held in Birmingham on Thursday Dec 10,2015
Walking
away with the awards for Best Live Performance and Best British Artist,
the 27-year-old Hello hit-maker was the big winner of the night.
Beating off stiff competition from the
likes of Ed Sheeran, Jamie XX, Florence And The Machine, Foals and Years
& Years, Adele was crowned British Artist of the Year by Rod
Stewart.
And while
she was nominated alongside Florence And The Machine , Jeff Lynne’s
ELO, Lionel Richie, the Radio 1 Ibiza Prom and 1Xtra Grime Prom, her
BBC special earnt the artist the Best Live Performance award.
Currently
in America promoting 25, Adele sent a message to her fans, saying:
'Sorry I'm not there, I'm absolutely gutted but thanks so much for my
award. Thank you so, so much.'
