Steve Smith Named Australia Captain for upcoming 5-Match ODI Series in England from Sep 03-13,2015

Australia have named Steve Smith as captain for the upcoming ODI series with England.

Australia will then play five ODIs, between September 3-13,2015

The new skipper will lead a much overhauled side from the one which won the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, with the injured Aaron Finch and suspended James Faulkner among the notable absentees.

Ashton Agar is among the three uncapped one-day players to come into the team, while batsman Joe Burns and all-rounder Marcus Stoinis are set to earn their first caps in the 50-over format

Ashyon Agar and Burns have each played two Tests, the former making his mark in the 2013 Ashes series with a wonderful 98 from 101 balls at number 11 on debut at Trent Bridge

Also Australia plays Ireland in a one-off ODI in Belfast on Aug. 27,2015 and will play a lone T20 against England on Aug. 31,2015
