Boxing Day queues started as early as 2am as determined bargain-hunters
searched for cut-price handbags, beauty products and clothing at stores
across Britain. Hundreds waited in the cold outside Selfridges in
Manchester (left), while barriers were put up outside a Next shop in
Birmingham (top right and bottom right) to keep the crowds under
control.
