2014 Asian Games Incheon South Korea - Complete list of India's medal winners

India ended the Games with a total of 57 medals, including 11 gold, 9 silver and 37 bronze, which is 8 less than the 65 medals (14 gold, 17 silver and 34 bronze) India won at the Guangzhou Games four years ago.

Athletics and shooting bagged the most number of medals at Incheon, 13 and 9 respectively

The Indian men's hockey team regained the gold medal after a gap of 16 years defeating defending champions Pakistan 4-2 in a nerve-wracking shoot-out. 
It took a shoot-out to determine the winner as both the teams were locked 1-1 in the regulation time
The last time India had won a gold medal in Asian Games was in Bangkok in 1998.
