Glenn Maxwell played a whirlwind knock of 89 Runs before David Miller provided the finishing touches with a breathtaking 51, as Kings XI Punjab thrashed Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets in a high-scoring IPL match in Sharjah on Sunday.

Chasing an imposing 192 to win, Glenn Maxwell 89 Runs(45 Balls with 4x8 and 6x6) and David Miller  51 Runs Not Out (19 Balls with 6x6)put on display an incredible power-hitting show as Punjab overhauled the target with 8 balls to spare.

In his 3rd-wicket partnership of 116 runs with Cheteshwar Pujara,Glenn Maxwell's contribution was 89 while Pujara (40 not out) was reduced to a spectator at the other end

Glenn Maxwell yet again played a match-winning knock as he did not spare a single Rajasthan bowler as it rained boundaries when he was batting in full flow. 

David Miller recorded his 17th fifty in T20s - his 18th innings of fifty or more in Twenty20. His 19-ball fifty is the quickest by a Kings XI player in T20s.

The record for fastest fifty in IPL is held by Adam Gilchrist, off just 17 balls against Delhi Daredevils in 2009 IPL Season 2

Earlier Sanju Samson 52 Runs(34 Balls) hit a classy half-century and Shane Watson 50 Runs(29 Balls) played a captain's knock to guide Rajasthan Royals to 191/5 in 20 Overs after being put into bat
