2014 ICC T20 World Cup Holland Vs England Monday March 31,2014

The Dutch won by 45 runs as England were bowled out for 88 chasing 134 to win their final group game at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Monday March 31, 2014 in Chittagong, Bangladesh

Chasing Holland's mark of 133 for five victory,Stuart Broad's side - who had won the toss and opted to chase - mustered a risible 88 all out, just eight more than their worst-ever score in the format.

England's winter horror show continued on Monday March 31,2014 when they were beaten by Holland in their final Twenty20 World Cup fixture

NUMBERS SHAME

2 - England’s record against the Dutch is now P2 L2.
88 - England equalled their second-worst ever T20 total, 88 against West Indies. Their lowest total was 80 against India in 2012.
45 - Holland’s 45-run win was their largest in T20s. It was also the largest between an associate team and a full member.
2 - Holland have only ever beaten two Test-playing nations in limited overs cricket: Bangladesh and England.

It was a repeat of the 2009 embarrassment at Lord's, but this was arguably an even more abject display against a side blown away for 39 by Sri Lanka but gradually building to this unlikely act of giant-killing ever since.
