Special Camps to verify names in voters list across India on SundayMarch 09,2014

The Election Commission of India(ECI)has decided to hold special camps on Sunday March 09,2014 in polling stations across the country to facilitate people to verify their names on the electoral rolls

In these special camps, the electoral roll of the concerned polling station would be displayed and also be read out publicly, so that people can check their names on the electoral rolls

If the name of any person entitled to be enrolled is left out for some reason or has been wrongly deleted or there is any mistake in their names or related information, such people can immediately fill application for taking appropriate steps by the authorities

The booth level officer would coordinate the entire process.
