Coronavirus - Qatar bans travellers from 14 countries

Qatar on Sunday March 08,2020 announced that it is temporarily banning the entry of travellers from 14 countries over the coronavirus outbreak as the number of cases in the Gulf country rose to 15.

In a Statement, Qatar's Ministry of Health said the ban covers - 

1. Bangladesh
2. China
3. Egypt
4. India
5. Iran
6. Iraq
7. Lebanon
8. Nepal
9. Pakistan
10. Philippines
11. South Korea
12. Sri Lanka
13. Syria and 
14. Thailand.

The government also announced a nationwide closure of schools and universities that will come into effect on March 10,2020
