Tata Motors Thursday Dec 19,2019unveiled its much awaited Nexon electric vehicle in India. The all-new Tata Nexon electric
vehicle is the second EV to be showcased in our country in December
2019, following the premiere of MG ZS electric vehicle earlier this
month.
Tata Nexon Electric Vehicle Motor
The Nexon EV will come with the new Ziptron powertrain technology.
It will be powered by a liquid-cooled permanent magnet AC motor
producing 129 hp and 245 Nm of peak torque. The motor is offered with an
automatic transmission.
Tata Nexon Electric Vehicle Acceleration
The Nexon EV will make 0-60 kmph in 4.6 seconds, while it will go from standstill to 100 kmph in 9.9 seconds
Tata Nexon Electric Vehicle Battery
The Nexon EV will have 30.2 kWh high energy density lithium-ion battery pack. Now
this is an IP 67 rated battery pack and is dust and water proof. It also
complies with the AIS-048, nail penetration test. Its casing is impact
resistant.
Tata Nexon Electric Vehicle Charge
The
customers will be able to charge the Nexon EV up to 80 per cent in an
hour using a DC fast charger. The electric vehicle can be charged up to
80 per cent with a standard 15A home socket in eight hours.
Tata Nexon Electric Vehicle Range
The Nexon EV will have a range of more than 300 km.
Tata Nexon Electric Vehicle Warranty
The Nexon EV will have a warranty of eight years or 1.60 lakh kilometres on the battery.
Tata Nexon Electric Vehicle Variants
The Nexon EV will be available in three trims -- XM, XZ+ and XZ+ LUX
Tata Nexon Electric Vehicle Features
The
Nexon EV will come with features like contrast automatic headlamps,
automatic rain sensing wipers, dual-tone roof, 16-inch diamond cut alloy
wheels, premium leather seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, 7-inch
touchscreen infotainment system, fully automatic climate control,
keyless entry & push button start and sunroof.
Tata Nexon Electric Vehicle Bookings
The bookings for the Nexon EV will start on December 20. The booking amount will be Rs 21,000.
