Pakistan's Abid Ali Becomes First Cricketer to Score Tons in ODI and Test Debuts

Pakistan's Abid Ali became the first man to score a century in both ODI and Test debut, bringing up the latter in the first game against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi on Sunday December 15,2019

Abid got the landmark in his 182nd ball with a couple of Vishwa Fernando. He ended on 109* as Pakistan reached 252 for 2 when the game ended in a draw.

Abid Ali  had made 112 off 119 in his ODI debut against Australia in Dubai in March 2019

Abid Ali became one of 15 batsmen to score a hundred on ODI debut since the inception of limited over cricket in January 1971, but none of the others also had a Test debut century.

Test cricket started in 1876.
Abid Ali  also became the 13th Pakistani to score a ton on Test debut.
