Maruti Suzuki WagonR completes 20 years in India, over 24 lakh units sold

Maruti Suzuki WagonR has completed 20 years in India. More than 24 lakh units of the hatchback have been sold in the country since its introduction  in 1999

Now in its 3rd Generation, Maruti Suzuki WagonR rivals against the likes of Hyundai Santro and Tata Tiago.

Maruti Suzuki WagonR is available in two BS 6 Compliant Petrol Engine Options -- 1.0-litre K10B and 1.2-litre K12M.

The 1.0-litre motor delivers 68 hp and 90 Nm of torque, while the 1.2-litre powertrain churns out 83 hp and 113 Nm of torque.

Apart from the standard 5-speed manual gearbox, there is an option for a 5-speed AGS (auto gear shift) as well.

The WagonR is available in 3 variants -- LXI, VXI and ZXI.
