lakh by Mumbai, was handed his debut in the match against Delhi Capitals
at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday March 24,2019
He received his maiden cap from former Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan, who is currently Mumbai’s Director of Cricket. The young man is the only third cricketer from Kashmir to have been picked by an IPL franchise.
Salaam, hails from Kulgaam district, and made his first-class debut for Jammu & Kashmir in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy on 30 December 2018. He also made his Twenty20 debut for Jammu & Kashmir in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
