Ramanathan Krishnan created history by reaching the semi-finals at the
All England Club.
Wimbledon, the oldest tennis tournament in the world,
was officially the holy grail of tennis before the Open Era came into
existence. Seventh seeded Krishnan’s golden run came to a halt in the
last four against eventual champion Neale Fraser of Australia.
