2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia June 14 - July 15,2018 - English champions Manchester City will have 16 players at the 2018 edition in Russia



English Premier League champions Manchester City will have 16 players at the 2018 edition in Russia, more than any other club and ahead of Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Collectively, City, Real and Barcelona will send 45 players with the Champions League winner contributing 15 and the La Liga winner sending 14.

City will be represented by some of the greatest talents from Premier League that helped the club lift the 2017-18 league title and set the record for most points, most goals and most wins in a single season.

The English club could have had 18 players in Russia. However, Germany coach Joachim Low decided not to take star player Leroy Sane, while talented defender Aymeric Laporte failed to make it to the France squad

Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva and Sergio Aguero will be some of the biggest names from City at the World Cup.
