Apple proposes 13 new characters for people with disabilities

Apple wants its emojis to be more inclusive. 

The tech giant has proposed adding 13 new emojis that represent people with disabilities, including guide dogs, people in wheelchairs and a hearing aid. 

The proposal was filed to the Unicorn Consortium and if it goes through, the emojis could be coming to your iphone soon. 

Apple recently filed a proposal with the Unicode Consortium to approve 13 new emojis depicting people with disabilities. If approved, they'd appear on phones by August
