2018 Indian Premier League (IPL)Season 11 Auction in Bengaluru Jan 27& 28,2018 - 10 Players Who Will Set the Cash Registers Ringing

Ravichandran Ashwin

One of the best spinners in the world. Ravichandran Ashwin would have teams lining up to buy him. He is one of the smartest spinners in world with a bagful of tricks up his sleeve. His IPL record is also magnificent with 100 wickets at an economy of 6.55. Ashwin is one player who would be a invaluable asset for any team. But remember MS Dhoni has already spoken about how Chennai Super Kings would try to get him back but they can't use any RTM card on him so it looks highly unlikely that he will be back in yellow.

Ben Stokes

Ben Stokes was the most expensive foreign purchase when he was bought by Pune for a staggering 14.5 crores. And he proved his worth by being named the Player of the tournament last season, averaging 31.60 with the bat at a strike rate of 143 while taking 12 wickets. Though his off field antics have derailed his career but Stokes remains an impact player for any team. He is almost guaranteed to be among the most expensive buys of the 2018 auction.

Gautam Gambhir

He may not be youngest lad on the field but Gautam Gambhir is sure to make a splash at the auction due to his captaincy record. Gambhir has been the force behind Kolkata Knight Riders, leading them to two IPL titles which brings his championship experience to the fold. He has been in good form recently in the Ranji trophy scoring loads of runs for Delhi. Teams like Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab would be happy to fight it out for him due to his leadership skills.

Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep has been in great form in limited overs cricket in the past one year, even keeping out experienced spinners like R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja from the limited overs team. He is one of the best Chinaman bowlers in the world with an impressive average of 21. It surprised many that KKR did not retain him but the other teams certainly won't be complaining. KKR too might be looking to buy him back using the RTM card.

Jos Buttler

Jos Buttler is sure to be the most sort after wicket-keeper in this year's auction. Buttler is a hard-hitting batsmen with a T20 strike rate of 144. He is also an assured hand behind the wickets. Buttler found the perfect way to increase his worth when he recently scored a match-winning hundred against Australia at the MCG. He has also been a consistent performer for the Mumbai Indians.

Manish Pandey

The first Indian to score a century in the IPL, Manish Pandey is one of the most consistent batsmen in the league. He was instrumental in KKR's win in the final of 2014 IPL. After establishing himself in the Indian ODI and T20 setup and a base price of just 1 crores, he is sure to start a bidding war among franchises looking for a match-winner.

Rashid Khan

This diminutive Afghanistan leg spinner is one of the best limited overs bowlers in the world right now. Playing in almost every league in the world and that too bowling with an economy rate of an astonishing 5.81, Rashid Khan has proved his worth every time. Even more, his performance in last year's IPL will give the franchises an added impetus to sign him. He is sure to be in the list of many teams.

Robin Uthappa
Though many wouldn't fancy this Karnataka batsmen but Robin Uthappa has been the pillar behind Kolkata Knight Riders success in recent years. He averages above 30 for the KKR while forming a lethal opening partnership with Gautam Gambhir. The highest run-getter in IPL 7, Robin was also in great form last season scoring 388 runs at an impressive strike rate of 165. He is also a reliable wicket-keeper and that makes him a solid buy at the auction.

Kieron Pollard

This big burly all-rounder is the third highest run-scorer in T20s but that's not all, he is equally handy with the ball as well taking 243 wickets. Kieron Pollard is a name that needs no introduction. He can hit sixes at will and his ability to win matches for his team is what will drive the franchises to splash the cash on him. Mumbai Indians have the right to match card but other franchises are sure to soar up the price for him.

Colin Munro

The only batsmen to score 3 T20 international hundreds, Kiwi Colin Munro will surely trigger a hotly contested bidding war this year. He has been in amazing form recently scoring at an average of above 40 with a strike rate of over 150. With his ability to bowl medium pace, Colin Munro will surely be raking in the moolah on January 27th
