Bangladesh, having opted to bat, found themselves 27 for 4 within the first nine overs and struggled to recover. A 94-run fifth-wicket stand between Afif Hossain (63 off 85) and Aminul Islam (31 off 64) provided the semblance of stability before they lost four wickets for 14 runs.
England Captain Harry Brook's unbeaten century, coupled with three-fors from fast bowler Ethan Bamber and off-spinner Euan Woods powered England to their second successive victory at the Under-19 World Cup, with seven wickets and 123 balls to spare.
