India's Rohit Sharma equals record for fastest T20 century Friday Dec 22,2017



India’s Rohit Sharma scored the joint fastest T20 century in T20 international cricket when he hammered his way to the landmark from only 35 balls against Sri Lanka in the second T20 @Indore on Friday Dec 22,2017



He matched the record South Africa’s David Miller set against Bangladesh in October 2017




 
Stand-in-skipper Rohit Sharma led from the front and slammed a majestic ton to become the first Indian to score two T20I tons in the second match of the three-match series against Sri Lanka in Indore on Friday Dec 22,2017

Rohit Sharma tore into the bowling attack and picked up boundaries in all parts of the ground and in the process, the Mumbaikar also equalled the record for the fastest ton in this format of the game

Rohit Sharma finally departed after scoring 118 off 43 deliveries, which included 108 runs just in boundaries (12 Fours and 10 Sixes). In the process, the 'Hitman' also eclipsed KL Rahul's highest T20I score to set a new Indian record.
