The monsoon in India starts withdrawing in stages from Sep 01,2017 and is usually out of northwest and central India between October 1-15,2017
This year, however, a late surge in the monsoon is expected to bring rain over the next few days to several states in central and north India – many of which are facing the threat of drought.
