The 50th episode began with Kamal Haasan asking the three nominated housemates - Arav,Snehan and Shakthi on who think they would get eliminated, for which all three raised their hands.
Kamal Haasan quickly reveals that Snehan and Aarav are safe which mean Shakthi gets eliminated from Bigg Boss Tamil show
In conversation with Kamal Haasan, Shakthi reveals that he has had been having problem with Oviya since the second week. When he mentioned the word 'trigger' while talking about this, Kamal Haasan interuppted him to say that he has donated the word 'trigger' to Tamil and also that he shouldn't be surprised if people address him as 'Trigger Shakthi'.
Shakthi also talks about Gayathri and her anger and how she should try to control it. He also talks about wanting move out his father's shadow and also get recognition on his own. Shakthi also gives his version of why the housemates didn't stop Bharani when he was trying to jump out of Bigg Boss house.
Shakthi later plays a game with Kamal Haasan where he gives film titles to each person in Bigg Boss Tamil house and also gives them rating stars.
After this, Kamal Haasan send gifts to the housemates for completing 50 day in Bigg Boss Tamil show. He shows them a movie on the journey so far inside Bigg Boss house, sends them food and also other snack items
