To mark 100 days of the BJP government in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Sunday June 25,2017 announced a metro rail project to connect the state capital to the holy city of Haridwar.
"In view of increasing in traffic in Dehradun, the government has decided to introduce metro rail services till Haridwar. A director has also been appointed for the project," he said
Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, to mark his 100 days in office, launched a booklet, '100 Din Sarkar Ke, 100 Din Vikas Ke', prepared by the state's public relation department.
