One of the most popular places for wildlife lovers, Ranthambore National Park was established in the year 1955 as a game sanctuary. The commencement of Project Tiger took place in 1972, following which Ranthambore received the status of a national park in 1980.
How to Reach
The nearest airport is in Jaipur which is about 160 km away and the nearest railway station is Sawai Madhopur Railway Station located 11 km away from National Park. There is a very good network of buses and taxis that connect Sawai Madhopur to Delhi, Jaipur and Agra.
