1) Cleanse
This is a given, but sometimes it is easy to simply fall into bed without taking the time to clear away the dirt and grime of the day. For those with oily skin, use a cleanser with salicylic or glycolic acid. Whatever your skin type, the goal is to remove all the oil, grit, cosmetics, and environmental debris that accumulate daily on the surface of your skin.
2) Remove Your Makeup
A cleanse is often not enough to remove the makeup that you have worn and reapplied all day. You can invest in a good makeup remover to remove stubborn eyeliner marks and mascara residue. You can also use simple petroleum jelly to wipe off your makeup - just use a small amount on your eyelids or face and wipe with cotton or a cotton pad.
3)Exfoliate
You should exfoliate only two or three times a week; more often can dry your skin. For this, You may use a mild fine bead exfoliator or a home made sea salt one. This step will eliminate any uneven dead skin and scrub away your blackheads too.
4) Moisturize
Want your face to look smooth and healthy rather than dry and scaly? Then you need to trap as much moisture as possible in that layer of dead cells on the surface of your skin. Natural oils are the best sealants, but if your skin doesn't produce enough, a moisturizer is the next best thing.
5) Under Eye Cream
The job, the stress, the relationship dramas, the lack of sleep: all of these things take a toll on your skin, and this is mostly reflected in the dark circles and puffiness around your eyes. Use an under eye cream every night before you sleep to wake up with eyes that are brighter and fresh
