India’s’ traffic mortality rate is the lowest among emerging economies

World Health Organization(WHO) estimates that 1.25 million people die each year in road accidents across the world.

About 90% of these deaths are reported in developing or poor countries despite their low vehicle density.

Around 1.5 lakh Indians were killed in traffic accidents in 2015.

If not checked, road accidents are predicted to become the 7th leading cause of death by 2030.
