The scooter gets an 800 watt electric motor, which can propel it to a maximum speed of 55 kmph and allow a range of 80-90km.
The Ridge comes fitted with alloy wheels, tubeless tyres and drum brakes.
Up front it gets telescopic suspension and a fully digital speedometer.
It has the capacity to carry a load of up to 150kg.
A slight drawback is that with a maximum speed of over 40 kmph, the Okinawa Ridge will need to be registered and insured like any other petrol-powered two-wheeler.
Currently, the company has achieved around 65-70 per cent localisation in the manufacturing of the Okinawa Ridge.
