At launch, Amazon claimed that it will be offering thousands of free and paid e-books, that includes hundreds of exclusive titles in Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Gujarati, and Malayalam and readers will be able to access these books on their Kindle e-readers and Kindle iOS & Android apps
Books being offered
Among the titles being offered include bestseller books like Ravish Kumar's “Ishq Mein Shahar Hona”, Manav Kaul's “Theek Tumhare Peechhe” (Hindi); Sa.Na.Kannan's “Rajaraja Chozhan” and Madhan's “Vantharkal Ventrarkal” (Tamil); Shivaji Sawant's “Mrutyunjay" and Vishnu Sakharam Khandekar's “Yayati” (Marathi); Kaajal Oza Vaidya's “Ek Bija Ne Gamta Rahiye” and Gunvant Shah's "Bhagvan Ni Tapal" (Gujarati); K R Meera's 'Aarachar' and Madhavikutty/Kamala Das' Ente Katha' (Malayalam).
The selection will also include translations of globally popular titles like Rhonda Byrne's “The Secret”, and Robin Sharma's “The Monk who sold his Ferrari” and exclusive titles like Satya Vyas's “Banaras Talkies”, Madhanand's “Ki.Mu.Ki.Pi”, Kaajal Oza Vaidya's “Draupadi”.
