2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia Mascot Zabivaka the Wolf Unveiled with help from Brazil legend Ronaldo

Believe it or not the preparations for the next World Cup are well underway and now Russia 2018 has a mascot for the global showpiece event.

Designed by student Ekaterina Bocharova, Zabivaka the wolf has been chosen to represent the tournament.

The wolf stormed to victory with 53 % of the one million strong Russian public vote ahead of a tiger (27 %) and Cat (20 %), before being congratulated by Brazilian World Cup legend Ronaldo.
