Princess Sofia and her husband Prince Carl Philip (pictured) welcomed Swedish royals and close friends to the christening of their baby son Prince Alexander at Drottningholm Palace Church on the outskirts of Stockholm.
The five-month-old, who was dressed in the same christening gown first worn by his ancestor Prince Gustaf Adolf in 1906, arrived carried by his glamorous mother, Sofia, 31, and his dapper father, 37.
Prince Alexander was born on Tuesday, April 19,2016 at 6:25 p.m weighing at 7lbs 9oz and measuring 19.3 inches long
Sofia was resplendent in a custom white lace dress by Swedish designer Ida Sjöstedt, a pearl headband and cream satin heels, while her husband showcased his Swedish navy uniform.
The pair were all smiles as they watched their firstborn be baptised by Archbishop Antje Jackelen (bottom right).
However, the little prince was nonplussed by the proceedings, showing a greater interest in gnawing on the insignia attached to his sash than all the fuss around him.
