A museum and theme park dedicated to the history of wine and its culture has been officially opened by the President of France, Francois Hollande in Bordeaux,France on Tuesday May 31,2016
The €80million development on the left bank of the River Garonne is now welcoming members of the public, and tickets cost €20. That includes a glass of vino and a self-guided tour through 20 rooms on ten levels
The building, shaped like a decanter and designed to mimic the flow of wine pouring from a bottle, dominates the landscape on the river’s banks.
Guests can drink a glass of vin blanc or rouge high up in the building and enjoy spectacular views of the city while they’re at it
