Uranium is found and mined in only a handful of countries and India
isn't one of them.
Which is why Prime Minister Narendra Modi's is working hard on securing
global support for India's membership to the 48-member Nuclear Suppliers
Group (NSG)—the body that controls the export of uranium required in
nuclear reactors.
