Jose Mourinho moves into new 'house'; makes first Old Trafford appearance Sunday June 05,2016

Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho made his first  Old Trafford appearance to a raucous reception on Sunday June 05,2016 as the 53-year-old witnessed 'England' beating Rest of the World outfit 3-2 in the 2016 Soccer Aid match.

The former Chelsea manager replaced Louis van Gaal as United's coach last month after two disappointing seasons under the Dutchman.

The Portuguese originally agreed to manage the 'England' team consisting of former internationals, musicians, actors and other celebrities, against the Rest of the World team coached by Leicester`s Claudio Ranieri and featuring a host of retired legends.

But Jose Mourinho could only watch the match from the stands, and later cited his work with the club as a reason for his unavailability, while also describing Old Trafford as his "house."

"I`m sorry I couldn`t be more involved tonight, but I`m so happy and involved at the beginning of my job at Manchester United that all the time I have right now is working time," Mourinho wrote in the match programme.

"But I love the boys at Soccer Aid so much -- the atmosphere and especially the cause -- that I couldn`t be away on the day of the game."
