Honda Cars India has said that its compact sedan Amaze has crossed 2 lakh sales milestone in the domestic market since its launch in April 2013.
The introduction of the Amaze in the country had marked Honda's entry into the diesel segment in India
''During the span of three years, Amaze has achieved sales milestone of 2 lakh units bringing new customers into Honda. The car has been extremely popular in both big and smaller cities due to its strong value offering," said Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice President Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India.
An updated version of the compact sedan was launched in March 2016 with several new features including a variant powered by Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
The car is priced between Rs 5.41 lakh and Rs 8.31 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
