Facebook Appoints Former Adobe Executive Umang Bedi As India Managing Director Tuesday June 07,2016

Facebook on Tuesday June 07,2016 said it has appointed former Adobe executive Umang Bedi as managing director of its India operations.

Umang Bedi, whose appointment is effective July 2016, will lead in building and maintaining strategic relationships with top clients and regional agencies in the country, Facebook said in a statement.

He will take over from Kirthiga Reddy, who will be returning to the US to take on a new role at the company's headquarters at Menlo Park in August 2016

India is the largest market for Facebook outside the US with close to 150 million monthly active users.
