India and Zimbabwe have competed against each other inODI's since 1983. They have met on 60 occasions with India being more successful with 48 victories, Zimbabwe have won ten, and two matches have ended in a tie

Virat Kohli-led India created history in Bulawayo by completing a 5-0 series victory over Zimbabwe. It was for the first time in India's ODI history that they had achieved a clean sweep of a five-match series away from home in July - August 2013


Young Kedar Jadhav struck his maiden international century105* as Ajinkya Rahane-led India thrashed Zimbabwe by 83 runs in the third and final ODI to complete a 3-0 series whitewash in July 2015

Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Wednesday June 15,2016 became the first Indian wicketkeeper and fourth in the world to complete 350 dismissals in ODI cricket.

M S Dhoni Becomes Maiden Indian Keeper to Complete 350 ODI Dismissals



M S Dhoni achieved the feat during the ongoing third and final ODI against Zimbabwe, when he caught Elton Chigumbura off medium pacer Jasprit Bumrah in the 33rd over.
Playing in his 278th match, Dhoni has taken 261 catches and effected 89 stumpings.

Sri Lankan Kumar Sangakkara leads the list with 482 dismissals followed by Australian Adam Gilchrist and South African Mark Boucher with 472 and 424 dismissals respectively

1. MS Dhoni became the first ODI captain to lead India in three series whitewashes
2. Jasprit Bumrah with 11 wickets has most scalps to his name after playing just four ODIs
3. Faiz Fazal’s unbeaten 55 was the third best by an Indian opener on debut. KL Rahul leads the list with his 100 not out, which he scored in the first ODI
4. India lost only three wickets in the whole series. They now hold the world-record for the fewest wickets lost in an ODI series (minimum 2 matches in the series).
5. This is the first time in his 278-ODI career, MS Dhoni has not batted in an ODI series where more than one match was played.
