The epic clash between World No. 3 Roger Federerand Marcus Willis, the British number 23, was described as a David and Goliath-esque battle - except this time Goliath won.

Swiss seventeen-time Grand Slam champion Federer, 34, went up against British hopeful and clear underdog Willis, 25, at the Centre Court at Wimbledon this afternoon Wednesday June 29,2016

Willis lost in straight sets to the Swiss great 6-0, 6-3, 6-4 but was cheered on throughout by his girlfriend, glamorous dental surgeon Jennifer Bate, and a group of friends calling themselves the 'WillBombs' who bellowed Robbie Williams' hit Angels at him.
