Swipe Elite Note With 5.5-inch Display, 4G Support Launched in India at Rs. 7,999



Swipe Technologies has launched a new smartphone in India, the Elite Note, priced at Rs. 7,999 exclusively on Flipkart. 


The handset is the company's third in the 'Elite' lineup after the Swipe Elite and the Swipe Elite 2, the latter of which  launched in Nov 2015




The Swipe Elite Note is a dual-SIM (LTE+GSM) supporting handset that runs the company's Freedom OS custom ROM based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. 

The smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution IPS display with Dragontrail Protection, 2.5D Arc touch screen, and a calculated pixel density of 267 ppi. 

Under-the-hood, the Elite Note packs a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MTK6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, clubbed with 3GB RAM and Mali-T720 GPU.

On the camera front, the Elite Note sports a Sony-made 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 88-degree wide-angle 4P lens and f/2.8 aperture. 

The handset comes with 16GB inbuilt storage (11.35GB for users), which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). As for the connectivity, the budget smartphone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB (with OTG) for charging and data transfer. 

Backed by a 3000mAh battery, the smartphone is rated to deliver up to 14 hours of talk time on 2G and 12 hours of talk time on 3G networks. It measures 77.1x154x8.4mm and weighs 194 grams. 

The Swipe Elite Note is available in Black colour variant and additionally features an IR blaster that can make it a universal remote control for compatible air-conditioners, television, set-top boxes, and more
