Google Photos now lets you edit images while keeping the original ones intact

People love to take pictures and then edit them and then re-edit them, only to realise how the original shot was just the way they wanted it to be.

In order to make the editing process smoother and lot easier, Google Photos for Android has been updated with a minor but important tweak.

The new update (version 1.17) makes editing photos fully reversible and non-destructive.

Users can now save edits or save a new copy of the photo; this ensures the original shot stays untouched.
