Aam Aadmi Party's 'Nawan Punjab March' Begins Friday March 25,2016

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab,Youth Wing supporters led by president, Harjot Singh Bains today Friday March 25,2016 began a march to help build a new Punjab free from drugs, farm suicides, unemployment, corruption, land, sand, cable, transport and liquor mafia.

The foot march called 'Nawan Punjab March', that began from Fatehgarh Sahib will cover more than 280 km, 120 villages in 12 days before culminating at Hussainiwala village in Ferozepur district on April 5,2016

Hussainiwala village lies near the bank of Sutlej river that marks the location of national martyrs' memorial where martyrs Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru were cremated on March 31, 1931.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Bains said it is an endeavor by the AAP's youth wing to highlight the ills of Punjab especially those pertaining to the youth and the students.

"During the 9 year misrule of Punjab SAD-BJP alliance government led by Parkash Singh Badal, majority of the Punjab youth has been pushed into the whirlpool of drugs and unemployment. The Badal government has no direction or a clear road map for the younger generation for their future who are completely been left in the lurch", said Mr Bains.

"We want to build a new Punjab which would be free from drugs, unemployment, corruption and liquor mafia. We also want Punjab to get rid of both Badal and Amarinder families who have done nothing but plundered the wealth of Punjab during their respective tenures", said Mr Bains.
