Virat Kohli celebrated India's win by going down on his knees and shunning his aggressive mannerisms like blowing kisses to dressing room or punching the air with his fist  Virat Kohli's average in successful chases is now 122.83, with 737 runs in 15 innings, which included eight fifties - both records in T20Is Virat Kohli's unbeaten match-winning knock of 82 off 51 balls is his highest score in T20Is in India - his second highest in this format behind the 90 not out vs Australia at Adelaide on January 26, 2016. With the unbeaten 82* Virat Kohli completes 1500+ Runs in T20's and now has scored 1552 Runs in 42 Matches(39 Innings)with 15 Fifties and with the topscore of 90* Virat Kohli said Sunday's knock was one of his top three innings and that he was emotional about it. Virat Kohli, minutes after masterfully powering India into the World T20 semi-final, credited the thrilling six-wicket win over Australia on Sunday to "a wonderful team batting effort." He added that his 82* against Aussies is among his 'top three' innings. And for its "positive energy" and "electrifying atmosphere," Kohli also thanked the crowd at Mohali, that chanted his name "I would like to thank the crowd, it was unbelievable, the support helps you push through those tough times. You need challenges in every game, they improve you as a cricketers...I don't know what to say, I am overwhelmed by," Woooow @imVkohli ...special it was... Great win, fighting all the way! #IndvsAus Glenn Maxwell might have been "shattered" after the defeat but had no qualms to admit that Australia were beaten by a "cricketing genius". Well... That innings was a different level... This knock of Virat Kohli was his 15th T20 Fifty and 4th Vs Australia.The amazing thing is, he has scored four consecutive fifties against Australia.
