Asghar Stanikzai as Afghanistan captain in T20Is scored his 3rd Fifty  - the joint-highest, along with Collins Obuya and William Porterfield, among Associate players

Dilshan and his opening-partner Dinesh Chandimal gave the team a solid start and added 41 in the first five overs, but Afghanistan's timely strikes reduced Sri Lanka to 113/4

But  Tillakaratne Dilshan held the innings together and finished on an unbeaten 83 as Sri Lanka cruised to the target with seven balls to spare 

Also Angelo Mathews swung the contest decisively in Sri Lanka's favour, his brisk 21 ensuring a comfortable finish
