Hat Tricks in T20 International Friday February 12,2016

4)Thisara Perara(Sri Lanka became the 4th bowler to take a hat-trick in the second Twenty20 International against India in Ranchi on Friday Feb 12,2016

Bowling the 19th over, Thisara Perera, who had figures of 2-0-26-0 before the start of the over, was all over the place in his first three balls but struck gold in his fourth ball when he got rid of Hardik Pandya for 27, as he mistimed a full toss to long on. In the next ball, Suresh Raina attempted to paddle a low full toss but found Dushmantha Chameera at short fine leg.

On the final ball, Perera bowled another full toss and Yuvraj Singh only managed to hole out to long on as the Sri Lankan sealed a hat-trick.

Thisara Perera joined Brett Lee, Jacob Oram and Tim Southee are the other bowlers to have taken a hat-trick in the Twenty20 Internationals

1) Brett Lee(Australia)Vs Bangladesh in Cape Town during the 2007 Twenty20 World Cup
It was the seventeenth over of the innings and Lee was hit for a boundary off the first ball. But the Australian star bounced back as he scalped Shakib Al Hasan, Mashrafe Mortaza and Alok Kapali in the same over

 It was a unique hat-trick for the Kiwi bowler as he along with his team-mates missed it which was completed in two overs
Jacob Oram dismissed Angelo Mathews off the last ball of the 17th over. He then dismissed Malinga Bandara and Nuvan Kulasekara off the first two balls of the final over
Jacob Oram  realized that he claimed a hat-trick after he received an email from his parents who congratulated him for the feat.

3)Tim Southee against Pakistan in Auckland in 2011
After Jacob Oram, Tim Southee became the second Kiwi bowler and third in the history of T20I’s to claim a hat-trick
In the 8th over of the first innings Southee dismissed big guns – Younis Khan, Mohammad Hafeez and Umar Akmal. 
Tim Southee also achieved another rare feat as he went on to take 5 wikcets
