England fast bowler Jimmy Anderson Awarded OBE for services to cricket

 
England fast bowler Jimmy Anderson has been awarded an OBE from the Prince of Wales for his services to cricket during an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

James Anderson became the first England bowler to take 400 Test wickets in April 2015 surpassing Sir Ian Botham's previous benchmark of 383.

The Lancastrian said after receiving his honour that has still has not come to terms with becoming England's leading wicket-taker - a moment that came during the Caribbean tour last spring.
