Andy Murray and Kim Sears 'name their daughter Sophia Olivia'

 

Andy Murray and his wife Kim Sears have reportedly named their daughter Sophia Olivia despite speculation they may have chosen a traditional Scottish name for their first born.

The tennis star gave no indication of his daughter's name when he wife gave birth on February 07,2016 – just days after he flew back to Britain following his defeat to Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open.

Speculation had been mounting that the couple would opt for a traditionally Scottish name, with bookmakers establishing Freya, Alexandra and Elizabeth as favourites for the name of little girl.

However, a family friend has now revealed that the couple have settled on Sophia Olivia Murray.
