After much delay, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday February 10,2016 announced their 15-man squad for the upcoming ICC World Twenty20 in India scheduled to be held during March 08 to April 03,2016
As expected, Shahid Afridi will lead the team in the
shortest format of the game and what came as a huge shock, the selectors
have dropped stylish right-hander Ahmed Shehzad for the prestigious
event
Ahmed Shehzad was replaced by Khurram Manzoor, who had played 16 Tests and seven one-day internationals for Pakistan.
In one of the surprises, Pakistan picked uncapped left-arm seamer
Rumman Raees. Umar Gul and Sohaib Maqsood have also failed to make the
cut
