The 13th edition of Auto Expo- the biennial show of the Indian
automotive industry is scheduled to kick start from February 5, 2016
Last edition witnessed 26 global launches and 44 India launches, which included over 200 two & three wheelers and more than 300 cars, UVs and commercial vehicles displayed.
This edition will also see manufacturers participating across segments to showcase passenger cars, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, utility vehicles, trucks, buses, and much more.
The Auto Expo is jointly organized by Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM)

The Auto Expo was conceived in the year 1985 and had its debut showcasing in 1986
The Auto Expo 1986 was a window for technology transfers showing how the Indian Automotive Industry was absorbing new technologies and promoting indigenous R & D for adapting these technologies for the rugged Indian conditions
