Now Bike Taxis to ply in Gurgaon from Dec 01,2015

 
Tired of being struck in traffic for long hours? there is a good news for the residents of Millennium City as bike taxis will now be available from December 01,2015

The alternative to car and auto taxis is likely to provide faster and cheaper mode of transportation.

The fare is likely to start from Rs 25 for the first 3-km and Rs 5 for each kilometer thereafter.

Arunabh Madhur, who has introduced the bike taxi concept MTaxi, said all approvals have been obtained from district transport and traffic authorities to run the service.

The service will be started with ten 100cc bikes which will have yellow number plates and will be driven by trained bikers.

The company says necessary commercial registration numbers have been obtained for the bikes.
Additional helmets have been procured for pillion riders keeping in view the safety concern of the passengers, said MTaxi CEO Madhur.

He added that special insurance package have been availed both for passenger and the rider.



Note

The bike taxi concept is already in vogue in Goa, Hanoi, Bangkok, London and Sao Paulo.
