General elections were held in Belize on Wednesday November 04,2015 to elect all 31 members of the House of Representatives

16 seats needed for a majority

 On  September 28,2015 Prime Minister Dean Barrow announced that he had advised the Governor General  to dissolve the National Assembly and to fix Wednesday November 04,2015 as the date for the next general elections

Belize's Prime Minister Dean Barrow has won an unprecedented third consecutive term in office in snap elections(called the election in September, more than a year ahead of schedule) in the small Central American nation. 

With results announced in all but two of the constituencies, Mr Barrow's party won in 19 and the opposition People's United Party in 10.
