Prince Harry Meets US President Barack Obama in the Oval Office

Cordial: A relaxed Prince Harry was all smiles as he met President Obama in the Oval Office today
Prince Harry might be one of the UK's most famous faces but Prince Harry showed off his humble side as he arrived at the White House this afternoon.

Eschewing the usual motorcade a visiting royal would come in, the 31-year-old instead arrived on foot for his meeting with US President Barack Obama

Unlike other visiting foreign dignitaries, the prince arrived by foot with a three-man entourage - his private secretary, and two other officials from the Invictus Games - and went in a White House side entrance
Low-key: Unlike other visiting foreign dignitaries, the prince arrived by foot with a three-man entourage - his private secretary, and two other officials from the Invictus Games - and went in a White House side entrance

It was the first time Harry has met Obama, although he had spent the morning with the First Lady as the two launched the USA's first Invictus Games, which will be held in Orlando, Florida next year.
Special relationship: President Obama said: 'I've had an opportunity to spend a lot of time with so many of his family members, but this is the first time that we had a chance to talk directly.'

Invictus is based on the Warrior Games, which Prince Harry attended in Colorado in 2013, a debt he acknowledged as he met the president.
